Graphic design for the international women's day flyer
Creation of a clear and engaging print and digital flyer, pairing visual hierarchy, commemorative date, and technical print compliance
Overview & Context
To mark International women's day on March 8th, a local organization planned panel discussions and community exchanges. The project focused on designing an A5 communication flyer and smartphone-adapted graphics to clearly present the schedule, venue, and participation details to attendees and partners.
Strategic Goal
The organization required a refined, focused document avoiding visual clutter to emphasize key details: the core March 8th date, the event theme, and practical details. The objective was to obtain an easily distributable printed leaflet that could also be shared rapidly across digital messaging channels.
Layout and legibility constraints
Structure essential event details on an A5 canvas while keeping a balanced harmony between the commemorative artwork, headlines, and practical details.
- • Instant emphasis on the March 8th date and core event theme at first glance.
- • Clear layout for informational blocks: schedule, venue address, guest speakers, and access guidelines.
- • Strict compliance with prepress constraints using 5 mm inner safety margins to prevent any text trimming.
- • Harmonization of a soft, contrasting color palette ensuring comfortable legibility in any lighting.
