Logo & visual identity design — Gusto Chicken
Design of an appetizing logotype and visual guidelines for a casual chicken fast-food restaurant
Overview & Context
Gusto Chicken is a fast-food restaurant serving crispy chicken meals, burgers, and side dishes. The project focused on creating a modern, friendly visual identity easily recognizable from the street, with practical applications for exterior signage, takeaway packaging, and point-of-sale displays.
Strategic Goal
The restaurant wanted to replace fragmented branding with a unified visual identity. The primary goal was a legible storefront logo paired with production-ready vector files for local printers producing kraft bags, meal boxes, and menu boards.
Graphic design goals
Design a welcoming and memorable emblem that works reliably at large scale on outdoor fascia signs down to small food wraps and cups.
- • Design of a stylized mascot emblem combining friendliness and clarity.
- • Selection of bold, rounded typography suited for signs and menu panels.
- • Choice of an appetizing two-color scheme (golden yellow and warm red).
- • Mockup preparation for takeaway packaging (chicken boxes, kraft paper bags).
The finalized brand identity
A balanced logotype combining a stylized chicken emblem, high-contrast typography, and practical layout templates for everyday restaurant collaterals.
Legible multi-format logo
Horizontal and vertical lockups with full-color, monochrome, and inverted dark-background variations.
Takeaway packaging
Templates for kraft paper bags, tenders boxes, and napkins with optimal logo placement.
Signage & menu panels
Vector artwork prepared for signmakers and structured layouts for indoor ordering boards.
Benefits for the restaurant
The new visual identity gave the restaurant a professional, cohesive image from day one, helping local patrons recognize the establishment instantly.
